Benetti has launched a 33m motor yacht, name My Paradis, the first model in the Italian shipyard’s Class Range Displacement line. The tri-deck luxury yacht is the first Tradition Supreme super yacht for Benetti, with exteriors by Stefano Righini.
Featuring a sundeck as her hallmark feature, My Paradis is lightweight and have improved stability thanks to a carbon fiber roll bar. Her sundeck has both internal and external access, providing maximum privacy for owners and guests. The upper deck also has a sky louge with a Turkish bath and skylight.
The interior of My Paradis has an unusual three dimensional effect produced by the combination of contrasting colors and shadows, along with walls of differing thickness. This effect allows Benetti to offer potential owners interactive backgrounds in its range of décor and customization options.
My Paradis’ main deck has an integrated dining area and salon that creates an open space that also includes a lounge and bar area. Her exterior washboard is lowered to glass window height to create the illusion of oneness between the interior and the water outside. Four VIP cabins on the lower deck can accommodate up to 12 guests. The yacht also has an owner’s cabin and a crew dinette on the main deck.
A new hybrid system, comprised of traditional main engines and two 35kW electric motors for navigation occupies My Paradis’ engine room houses the yacht’s traditional main engines and two 35kW electric motors that are connected to inverters of the main diesel-electric propulsion. Generators power the electric motors ,which can achieve speeds of up to six knots. As with other yachts in the Benetti Class range, My Paradis comes with a CMC Marine electrical fin stabilizer. This super yacht will make her world debut in September at the 2014 Cannes Yachting Festival.
