cannes-yacht-showThe largest boating industry festival of the year, the Cannes Yachting Festival is fast approaching. Taking place from Tuesday, September 9 to Sunday, September 14 at the Cannes View Port and Port Pierre Canto in Cannes, France, the festival is the industry event of the year for luxury boating enthusiasts.

To date, Benetti’s Ocean Paradise, a 55m motoryacht is the largest boat scheduled to appear at the festival. Ocean Paradise is schedule to be on show at the Super Yachts Extension in the Vieux Port where more than 20 yachts from international shipyards, ranging from 20m to 55m, will be moored. Three barges at the end of the Albert Edouard Pier will optimize available space and create the Super Yachts Extension during the show.

At Pierre Canto Port, attendees can find a wide selection of approximately 50 yachts offered for sale or rent by brokers from over 10 different countries. The previously owned sailing and motor yachts in the Brokerage and Charter area range in length from 22 meters to 50 meters. Attentively maintained by their crews, these luxury boats are available for potential owners like you who want to make their dreams come true.

Building on its success in 2013, Equipment Village will feature even more exhibitors this year. Located in the Pantiero, the village will feature more than 50 original equipment manufacturers offering a selection of electronics, on-board instruments, fittings, cleaning products, paints and virtually everything imaginable for your yacht.

Industry professionals interested in receiving additional privileges at the Cannes Yachting Festival and two other industry events, the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle and the Salon Nautique International de Paris, can purchase a Pass’Port Nautique. This badge allows holders to take advantage of the business centers and reserved services at each exhibition, including Internet-equipped offices, along with a newsletter that provides updated information on each exhibition throughout the season.

Badge holders will also enjoy a VIP welcome, a hotline number and email contact for travel and hotel booking questions, access to special lounges and free cloakrooms and the services on an on-site concierge.

The Cannes Yachting Festival will be open from 10 am to 7 pm daily, with closing times at 10 pm on Friday and 6 pm on Sunday.
