Measuring 74 meters in length, Cocoa Bean, the largest yacht ever constructed by Trinity Yachts, was delivered in late August to her owner. The completion of the steel and aluminum Cocoa Bean also marks the delivery of the biggest yacht to date in the United States during 2014.
The exterior was designed by the Gulf Coast-based shipyard’s in-house design team, while British designer Evan K. Marshall is responsible for the interior. Cocoa Bean is ABS classified and MCA compliant, and also features a gymnasium on the wheelhouse deck with a forward seating area. Twin 2,626 hp Caterpillar diesel engine power the ship, which has a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 13 knots.
Six staterooms accommodate 12 guests, while the full-beam master suite sits forward on the main deck. A sliding door closes off the bedroom from an adjacent lounge.
The other five cabins are located below decks, including the full-beam VIP statement that features two walk-in closets. With tenders stowed on deck, the transom is utilized as an al fresco lounge.
