The first yacht in the Arcadia 100 series is now in build in the same manner as her larger sister ship, the Arcadia 115. An outstanding feature of the Arcadia 100 superyacht is its flying bridge that converts into a sheltered third deck. Completely closed and protected by side windows that electronically raise to meet the hard top, the third deck hosts the wheelhouse, a lounge with sofa and coffee tables, a wet bar and a sun deck.
The Arcadia 100 has an NPL type semi-displacement hull that ensures excellent sea-keeping qualities along with noise reduction. This advanced hull gets its named from the National Physical Laboratory of England where testing was performed to determine shape for the best ratio of length to beam for hydrodynamic efficiency. Low generator usage is another characteristic thanks to energy supplied by solar panels that cover virtually the entire superstructure. This feature results in significant savings on diesel oil along with less pollution from reduced emissions and more comfort thanks to less noise and vibration.
The standard version of the Arcadia 100 has a full-beam owner’s suite with large sitting area that includes armchairs and side tables, amidships on the lower deck. A VIP cabin with queen size bed and two twin guest cabins also provide accommodation. She can accommodate up to eight guests and five crew members in separate crew cabins. Other cabin configurations pace the owner’s suite afore on the main deck. If needed, a folding wall can turn this suite two identical guest cabins.
A huge living area with salon and dining zones is on the main deck. The entire living rea can be transformed into a “patio” on the sea with sliding doors that open, creating an al fresco zone with a fantastic sea view.
The Arcadia 100 will be powered by two 1000Hp MAN V8 engines. She also has two 28kW 50Hz Kohler active electric-hydraulic stabilizing fins.
