    Benetti Yachts Reveals Strategies for the Asian Yachting Market

    benetti-mega-yacht-for-saleThe latest statistics from Cap Gemini and RNC Wealth Management indicate that the Asian Pacific region continues to be the driving force behind growth of High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI). With regional growth of 4.32 million, of 17.3 percent, Asia is expected to close the gap of 10,000 individual with North America, the leading region, with the next several years.

    Based on these trends, Italian superyacht brand Benetti has increased their presence in the Far East to take advantage of the area’s huge potential. Hong Kong is home to Benetti’s two primary offices for the region, with the company’s service office located in the Gold Coast Marina since this past April. General Manager Luigi Adamo heads the office, with Alberto Giannerini as service manager and Natalie Ye as marketing manager.

    Over the past five years, Benetti has sold a total of 390 meters of superyachts, including two Delfino 93s, one Classic 121, One Classic Supreme 132, three custom yachts of 55 meters and one custom of 60 meters. Among the more recent vessels sold and delivered include Ocean Paradise built for a young owner in Singapore; Lady Candy and Mingfa, the fifth model of the 132 Class Supreme line built in 2014.

    Contracts for a Class 121, custom 60 meter and custom 72 meter boats reportedly will close before the end of 2015.
