The new generation of owners continually   builders to push the envelop with the latest technologies on the market. Although motor yachts represent the world’s largest private yachts, sailing yachts can often reach an impressive overall length and have the latest in advanced technology, architecture, design, styling and performance.

Several mega sailing yachts are currently under build that will change the face of sailing. She will also feature an 18-meter fly bridge and offer additional outdoor and entertainment areas for guests.

The past year also saw a number of important sailing yachts launched and delivered. The largest was the traditional Phinisi Lamima at 65 meters. This stunning Indonesian wooden ketch has accommodations for up to 14 guests in seven traditional and luxurious cabins. Lamima combines traditional Indonesia building techniques with modern design, technology and supreme safety. Lamima was designed by Marcello Pena.
