Megayacht Builder Heesen Presents 38m Project Nina: Dutch shipyard Heesen unveiled their new 38m superyacht project Nina at the 2015 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Milan-based studio Hot Lab designed the exterior and interior of this semi-displacement yacht, while Heesen’s in-house engineering team is responsible for the vessel’s naval architecture.
Hot Lab created a stylish and contemporary design that complements Heesen’s classic look. Exterior areas are wide and open to perfectly compliment the elegant interiors that feature expansive social and accommodation spaces that have plentiful natural light.
Nina has her own sense of style while building on the success of her semi-displacement sisters in the same size range. A strong line that runs from the bow to the aft connects to the upper deck to create a clear separation of interior spaces below and open exterior areas above.
Ten guests are comfortably accommodates in a full-beam master suite and four guest cabins located on the accommodation deck. With a beam of almost 8 meters, she has enough interior space to completely separate guest areas and crew quarters while allowing for easy crew movement throughout the vessel.
Twin MTU 2000 M96L engines with 1,939kW each power Nina and can reach a maximum speed of 23 knots. Humphree active interceptors will provide a smooth and comfortable cruise even in choppy conditions.
