Feadship Christens Superyacht, 66.25 Meter Vanish: Feadship’s first superyacht of 2016, the 66.25m Vanish, was recently launched in the presence of the owner and a large group of family, guest and shipyard personnel at the builder’s Kaag Island facility.
London-based Eidsgaard Design collaborated with the Dutch shipyard on the superyacht, making it the third collaborative project that has also included Tango and the recently delivered Halo. Eidsgaard has introduced distinctive designs into the Feadship profile that include plenty of on deck features and interior firsts. Feadship director Jan-Bart Verkuyl has indicated that Vanish represents a holistic superyacht that can be enjoyed by many.
The interior features a dual level atrium that connects the main deck to the upper bridge deck lobbies. Accommodations include four guest suites, a large VIP stateroom on the main deck that may be converted into two separate staterooms and a full-beam master suite forward on the main deck can host 17 guests. Wide and spacious aft decks make this yacht ideal for family gatherings. Two helicopter lading pads are available, including a main platform on the sun deck aft with another on the foredeck. Solid teak capping rails finish all exterior deck areas.
A multi-purpose beach club with sauna, spa, massage room and hairdressing salon is at water level, with the deck also housing the yacht’s 26-foot and 28-foot tenders and Waverunners. A watertight door that measures almost 15 meters, one of the largest ever installed by Feadship, protects this area.
Two MTU 4000 M63L engines power Vanish, with a range of 5,200nm at 12 knots and a top speed of 17.5 knots.
