41m Megayacht Ruya Launched by Alia Yacht

Turkey’s Alia Yachts has launched the 41m motor yacht Ruya at its shipyard. With delivery to her new owners in September, the vessel will be showcased at the 2015 Monaco Yacht Show later in the month.

Sam Sorgiovanni crafted both exterior and interior designs of this voluminous superyacht that features multiple usable spaces over three generous decks. The huge 93 square meter sun deck has a full bar and 10-person Jacuzzi, while aft storage opens to create a practical sports area with swim deck and on-water beach club.

Sorgiovanni noted that the volume and beam of Ruya creates the feeling of being on a much bigger yacht. Interior layout and sophisticated décor along with exterior design combine to create a compact superyacht that defies its length.

Interior styling mimics that of a tropical beach resort. The on-board atmosphere is relaxed and enhanced by natural materials and finishes that include textured woods, bamboo and exotic materials that result in a tactile, sophisticated a sumptuous interior.

Built to Lloyds Register and MCA LY2 compliant, luxury yacht RUYA can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in five cabins, with two additional Pullmans. The main deck houses a gorgeous master suite, while the lower deck boasts two double and two VIP guest staterooms. The vessel also features five crew cabins, sleeping a crew of 10 members.

Van Oossanen Naval Architects and David McQueen of Motor Yacht Build were responsible for Ruya’s naval architecture. Twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesel engines that reach a top speed of 14 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots power her.
