60m Megayacht, Sun Catcher, is Latest Design from Max Zhivov: Inspired by the movement of a flower as it turns to catch the sun’s rays, the 60m Sun Catcher is one of the latest superyacht designs from designer Max Zhivov. The concept emphasizes sustainability and energy saving methods with features including a roof partially comprised of solar panels.

Smart technology ensures that the solar panels are used as effectively as possible. When underway, the panels lay vertically to avoid aerodynamic interference. While at anchor, the panels move into position to catch as much sun as possible.

As many as 12 guests are accommodated over five guest cabins and a large master suite.  Sun Catcher also has accommodations for a crew of 12. She is expected to have a cruising speed of 18 knots.
