Admiral Launches 50m Megayacht Ouranos
Ouranos has a full displacement steel hull and an aluminum superstructure. Comission for a repeat client, she has been described by Admiral as striking a perfect balance between traditional and innovative lines. Gian Marco Campanino and Admiral Centro Stile crafted her interior. The interior is contemporary and state of the art. Without sacrificing high-end finishes, the yacht represents a new type of luxury based on purity and linearity. A sophisticated atmosphere and subtle colors make for a comfortable and luxurious interior that has modern elegance without glitz.
The yacht has two salons, one on the main deck and the other on the upper deck. The latter is full-beam and features a cinema corner and a bar. Six staterooms can sleep 14 guests. Ouranos’ en-suite master is forward on the main deck and has a walk-in wardrobe. Three double guest cabins and two twins, with a sliding feature that turns them into doubles if necessary, are on the lower deck.
Notable features also include a beach club with massage corner, a gym and a day head, a glass and steel elevator connecting all three decks and a Jacuzzi with an array of sunbeds on the sundeck.
Ouranos will cruise the Mediterranean this summer and will be a feature at the 2016 Monaco. Afterward, she will cross the Atlantic and spend the winter in the Caribbean. She will also be available for charter.
Work is picking up for the Italian Sea Group, of which Admiral is a part. The group has signed a new 63m project and has two more yachts scheduled for delivery in 2016.
