Nauta Design is responsible for the look of the tri-deck displacement flagship that was signed in 2014 at the same time as the 31m Nauta 102, designed by Hydrotec. Both yachts are scheduled for delivery later this year.
Mario Pedol, co-founder of Nauta Design, noted that his firm wanted to give the Nauta Air 108 flagship the vision of a motoryacht defined by its innovative relationship between its interior and exterior spaces. Pedol added that the guiding idea was to exhibit lightness in two ways: a general absence of weight and widespread use of brightness.
Narvalo’s interiors feature light woods throughout along with a minimalistic approach. She can accommodate up to ten guests across five cabins along with six crew members.
Nauta Design has also fitted the vessel with several features that maximize onboard comfort during long cruises. These include a sky lounge behind the wheelhouse, measuring only a few square meters smaller than the main salon. A significant amount of storage space is dedication to provisions that Narvalo’s guests will need when she remains at sea for weeks at a time without stopping to supply.
Narvalo has a range of 5,500 nautical miles at nine knots. An outstanding range for a yacht with a LOA below 35 meters. Only two yachts between 30 and 35 meters have such a cruising range, the 33.6m M/Y Spada by Hakvoort and the 33.8 M/Y Sudami by Inace.
