Christensen Completes Double Megayacht Launch with Chasseur: For the second time in June, American shipyard Christensen has launched a new 50m superyacht from its facility in Vancouver, WA, on the Columbia River. The launch of Chasseur marks the second vessel to come out of the shipyard since it was taken over by Henry Luken in 2015.

The launching of Chasseur is on the heels of the launching of her sister ship, Silver Lining. Despite their identical length, the two vessels are notably different.
Chasseur has a silver hull and a light, modern interior featuring bleached sycamore woodwork, rich rosewood accents and semi-precious stonework. As a full displacement tri-deck, she was built to be MCA compliant. She is powered by a pair of MTU diesel engines for a top speed of 17 knots, with a cruising speed of 12 knots for maximum range.

Both Chasseur and Silver Lining are undergoing sea trials before delivery to their owners in July.
