Don’t Forget These Mega Yachts at Cannes: This year’s Cannes Yachting Festival has a particularly strong line-up. Here’s the second of our three-part installment of must-see yachts.
Azimut Grand 35 Metri
The Grande 35 Metri is the new flagship of Azimut. Standing above the crowd with an innovative foredeck layout that allows for a spa pool, sun loungers and a separate seating area, she also has a trapezoidal bow design developed in collaboration with Stefano Righini. This entire area may be hydraulically raised to allow the crew to access storage lockers beneath.
Custom Line Navetta 33
Hull number one of the revamped Navetta 33 line will get her public debut at Cannes 2017. Ferrette Group Engineering is responsible for the interior with exterior design by Zuccon International Project. This 33-meter tri-deck boasts a host of premium features, including a spa pool on the upper deck, a fold out balcony in the saloon and a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck.
Ferretti Yachts 920
One of five new yachts that Ferretti Group will debut in Cannes, the Ferretti 920 is the larger of two yachts from the shipyard’s signature range. Her raised bow design allows for a wider main deck cabin. A foredeck seating area is also the larger fitted to a yacht of this size, incorporating two sofas, sunloungers and removable parasols. A pair of MTU diesel engines powers the yacht.
Galego
Galego is hull number three in the Darwin 102 series of compact explorer yachts built by Cantiere delle Marche. She features several customizations on the standard Hydro Tec design, including 2.18 meters of headroom and an upper deck gym. Galego has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure and interior design by Pierluigi Floris.
Ninitas
Spanish shipyard Astondoa is celebrating its 100th anniversary with the Century range. The 30.45-meter Ninitas is the second yacht in the Century range, following the 110 Century Sophye. Ninitas’ towering superstructure takes the raised pilot house style to new heights, leaving lots of space for a luxurious main deck master cabin with décor by Cristiano Gatto Design.
Sunseeker 131
First introduced at the 2016 London Boat Show the 40.05-meter Sunseeker 131 has proved to be quite popular. Key features include accommodations for 10 guests over five cabins and a large tender garage that can house a six-meter tender and a pair of Jet Skis.
