The XL in the name refers to the great flexibility in length beneath desirable gross-tonnage levels, which translates to more space, lower operational costs and less arduous regulations. Perry van Oossanen notes that the fast displacement form allows the creation of the longest yachts even within the 200, 300 or 500GT boundaries.
Florentino created an aggressive exterior attitude to complement the power of the hull design and strove for smooth lines to complement the alfresco atmosphere, such as the aft deck infinity pool. Cristiano Gatto has been approach for the interior décor.
