First Benetti Superyacht Delfino 95 Christella II Delivered: The first superyacht in Benetti’s Delfino 95 series, named Christella II, has been launched by the Italian shipyard. The Delfino 95 replaces the long-popular Delfino 93 line, of which more than a dozen vessels have been launched. Christella II keeps the family feel of the old while introducing new features that include more and larger glass along the decks and making better use of volume.
A client from the Czech Republic is Christella II’s owner. He brought in Creativa Home Design, a Czech-based interior design firm to work alongside Benetti’s own interiors department. The 28.95-meter megayacht has a seven-meter beam and features warm Canaletto walnut paneling alternating with printed leather. Wood characterizes the soles in the saloon and other public areas. Soft carpeting is underfoot in the staterooms. Lighting has a significant role too as specialists from U.K.-based Aqualuce custom designed various moods and settings.
As the Delfino 95 is a semi-custom vessel, the owner took advantage to arrange the interior as he wished, especially in the main deck master suite. The cabin has a separate wardrobe and a larger shower. In addition to spanning Christella II’s beam, the master suite measure 3.2 meters long. Two VIP staterooms, which can convert into one large suite, are below decks along with two additional staterooms.
The dining table on the upper deck can be either inside or outside. While inside it has a sliding roof, along with mood light for added effect. Christella II has plenty of relaxation space with sunpads and settees dominating the yacht’s forward areas. Additional lounging and sunning areas are aft on the upper deck as well as on the sundeck.
Although some buyers of the Delfino 95 superyacht may prefer to be owner-operators, Christella ii have five crewmembers. Her top speed is 14.5 knots under MAN power.
