Golden Yachts Launches 85m Superyacht O’Ptasia: Golden Yachts of Greece has launched an 85-meter steel-hulled superyacht christened O’Ptasia. Studio Vafiadis is responsible for interior and exterior styling, while N Hellas provided naval architecture.
O’Ptasia has 11 staterooms highlighted by a 95-sqm upper-deck owner’s suite that has a private study, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. Two double cabins and a twin are also on this level, while two doubles, two convertible cabins, two twins and a VIP suite are on the main deck.
Crew accommodations include a bridge-deck captain’s cabin and 18 additional crew cabins. A central elevator provides quick access to all four decks, while a foredeck helipad allows guests to arrive in style.
There’s plenty of on-board options for entertainment, including a dining table for 16 in the main deck saloon and a gymnasium on the bridge deck. Also notable is the spacious beach club with steam room and massage area.
A pair of 3,386hp Caterpillar 3516C engines will give her a top speed of 16 knots. A built-in stabilizer system should ensure a smooth cruising experience, both underway and at anchor. The O’Ptasia’s central tender garage will huse three Seadoos, a six-meter Novurania catamaran, a 4.4-meter Avon RIB and an eight-meter Chris Craft tender and a plethora of other water toys.
Upon delivery, O’Ptasia will become one of the 200 largest superyachts in the world. She will be offered as a charter vessel.
