Gresham Yacht Design Details New 100m Explorer Superyacht: London-based Gresham Yacht Design has unveiled its latest 100-meter superyacht concept called Exploris. This design is a true explorer vessel as she will be Lloyds PYC classified, have an Ice Class hull and the ability to carry multiple large tenders and toys, along with an impressive 7,000nm range.
Exploris features a dedicated helicopter hangar that can house an Augusta Grand or an EC135. Guests can enjoy a fully private promenade deck above the bridge deck with an observation saloon and extra wide side decks. The owners will have a private deck, below which will be a forward facing observation lounge above the enclosed mooring room. Gresham is working closely with interior designers Seymour Diamond to develop interior layouts, architectural details, furnishings and finishes.
The CAP 437 helipad is certified for the much larger Sikorsky S76, located aft of the vessel. When guests land, doors lead into the heart of Exploris, starting at the unusually high beach club where twin 12.5-meter custom tenders may be retrieved and launched. When the tenders are deployed, the full 18-meter beam may be utilized with the additional benefit of an enhanced privacy that this level affords. With the addition of a Trident submersible and full dive facilities including a decompression chamber, no location is beyond reach in this vessel.
