Heesen Announces Sale of Megayacht Project Ruya: Heesen Yachts has announced the sale of megayacht Project Ruya, which has been under construction at the Dutch shipyard since 2014. Sold to an American client, the 47m steel displacement superyacht was built on speculations thanks to the shipyard’s solid financial foundation that allows it to anticipate construction of new projects, which in turn, reduces construction times.

Sitting just below 500GT, Project Ruya has a proven design that has been used as a platform for 12 sisterships, all of which has their own unique styling as specified by their owners. The team at Bannenberg and Rowell is responsible for the interior, which takes inspiration from kinetic energy for the taught, muscular and fluid  design that features high-tech finishes

Project Ruya will be delivered to her new owners in mid-June.
