K47 Taxila Mega Yacht Concept Revealed: Floating Life has revealed the K47 Taxila yacht, created in collaboration between the Swiss company’s cofounder Andrea Pezzini and Studio Satura’s Frederica Fino, Alberto Frulla and Francesco Viola. Beginning as a master’s thesis for Studio Ssatura’s young members, the design of the K47 Taxila has reportedly already impressed a number of potential owners.
The team based the design of this superyacht concept on the naval platform of Floating Life’s K-Series 45-meter mega yacht developed by Andrea Pezzini and lengthened it to 47 meters in the final design. Along with her extended naval platform, K47 Taxila features a combination of classic style and sporty lines. Her exteriors are designed to heighten the sense of contact with the marine environment. Notable features include the elimination of visual barriers on the decks to facilitate views as well as a transparent bottom within one of the pools to draw sunlight into the beach club.
Interior styling features complementary, muted colors and replaceable furnishings to easily adapt to future refurbishments. The mega yacht will accommodate 12 passengers and 11 crew and comes equipped with a spa, gym and saloon.
