London’s St. Katherine MegayachtsDocks Nearing Completion

London’s St. Katherine MegayachtsDocks Nearing Completion: The redesign and refurbishment of the marina at St. Katharine Docks in the River Thames in London is about 65% complete, with the central basin now having been completed and the west basin partially handed over to St. Katharine Dock Marina General Manager Paul Tetlow.

Work on the east basin started at the beginning of November with the marina slated for completion by the end of January 2017. The modern marina layout, includes new pontoons manufactured by Poralu and services installed by Maricer, give the docks a luxurious feel. The marina will be able to accommodate a wider range of boats up to 40 meters. By next February, the entire marina is expected to be fully operational.

The wide range of restaurants, bars, markets and events near the Docks provide yacht owners with an abundance of activities year-round while also creating a unique buzz within the marina by making it a destination in its own right.
