Lürssen Launches 130 Meter Superyacht Project Lightning: German shipyard Lürssen has launched the highly-secretive Superyacht, Project Lightning, which is estimated to be more than 130 meters in length, from its facilities in Bremen. Speculation is that this superyacht will be the manufacturer’s largest launching of 2019. The superyacht project remains under tight wraps, as no official details have yet been released by the shipyard. However, the launching apparently shows Project Lightning to have two spacious helipads, one forward and one aft, along with a transom that appears to house a large beach club. No hints have been given regarding designers, naval architects or timeframe for delivery.
