Lürssen Launches 142m Superyacht Project Redwood: One of the largest megayachts of the year, the 142-meter Project Redwood has been launched by Lürssen from its facilities in Bremen, Germany. Spanning six decks, the superyacht was originally listed as a 139-meter project. Once finished, she will rank somewhere in the top ten largest megayachts in the world following completion. Project Redwood was moved to a floating dock for the assembly of her superstructure in December 2018. The coming months will see the addition of features such as two helipads and a large pool. The yacht will also have a sophisticated sports and diving center in her lower deck and will be well suited to long-range cruising in remote areas of the world. She will also have a fleet of tenders measuring up to 15 meters. Not much is known about her interior themes, however, the Italian design house Nuvolari Lenard is responsible for her interior and exterior designs. Project Redwood is being constructed to comply with Passenger Yacht Code Regulations and will be able to accommodate up to 36 guests across 20 staterooms. Superyacht Project Redwood marks the second time that Nuvolari Lenard has collaborated with the German shipbuilder. The 88-meter Quattroelle was delivered by the same partnership in 2013 ad was a finalist at the 2014 World Superyacht Awards. Project Redwood is due for completion in 2020.
