Lürssen Launches 74m Aurora Megayacht Photo Klaus Jordan
Taking design cues from classic yachts and modern-day superyachts. Aurora has an Art Deco nameplate that is framed by class ship-style windows, echoing back to the era of gentleman’s yachting. However her powerful bow and forward vertical windows place her firmly in 2017. Spanning six decks and a bean of 13 meters, this voluminous yacht ensures plenty of unique and distinct guest areas for the owner’s relaxation and entertainment.
Lürssen officials noted that Aurora has been built to meet all of the owners’ requirements, creating a very private yacht with individual needs, along with the highest technical standard while combining practical and useful features. The shipyard also emphasize that while it has launched a number of 100-meter plus superyachts, it is still committed to building smaller superyachts that are world leaders in terms of quality.
Aurora is due to be delivered in time for the summer cruising season.
