Megayacht Concept Introduced By Mulder Shipyard

Mulder Shipyard of the Netherlands has introduced a new superyacht full beam concept that features a raised pilot house. The all-aluminum Mulder 2800 RPH measures 28 meters in length and features naval architecture by Van oossanen Naval Architects. Frank Laupman of Omega Architects crafted the interior and exterior. Low running costs, ease of operation and suitability for both families and chartering possibilities are prime characteristics.

Inside, the 2800 RPH accommodates as many as 10 guests and a crew of three. Alternative layouts are also available. With the raised pilot house concept, the captain not only gets an overall better view, but more interior room below can be used for other options.

The saloon area has side decks, while the master suite, located forward on the main deck, utilizes the boat’s entire beam. This design feature allows a feeling of privacy when inside the master suite and also provides spectacular views.

Another notable feature is deck dining provided by a flush open deck floor plan of more than 10 meters. The area is ideal for a sophisticated al fresco dining experience while also enjoying uninterrupted views. This superyacht has an economical cruising speed of 12 knots.

This design rendering follows the on the heels of the Mulder 34m BN100 that is currently in build.
