In build at the Italian Sea Group, she is among the biggest boats under the shipyard’s Admiral brand. Equipped with hybrid propulsion, Piuma has twin MANV12 1800 diesels connected to electric motors. No information is yet available on the expected speed or range on electric power. However, she is predicted to cruise in traditional mode at 17 knots and have a 3,500nm range at 11 knots.
Listed for sale at €24.9 million, Piuma does not yet have interior décor in place. This allows for a buyer to step in and design it. The current owner’s ideas may be used as a starting place. These include a master suite with a private study on the main deck and a full-beam VIP and four additional staterooms below decks. The current owner has worked with Admiral Design Studio to give Piuma a contemporary look, featuring liberal use of marble and primary light tones in all soft goods. A crew of 12 will serve guests.
The exterior has several areas perfect for private gatherings or charter parties. Fully forward on the main deck is a good-size circular area that can host a handful of guests when it isn’t serving as a touch-and-go helipad. The tender garage can hold a 26-meter primary boat and toys.
Gross tonnage will be beneath 500 tons. With her aluminum hull and superstructure were recently finished, Piuma is 18 months from completion.
