Rossinavi Yachts new project, a 38.6m reproduction to be christen M/Y Tansaray, is scheduled for an April 18 launch. Technical skills played a key role in the construction of this 1930s–style build, with many aspects of the ship hand-built by craftsmen. G.L. Watson designed the original 1930s vessel, with naval architecture of the reproduction completed by Rossinavi in conjunction with STB Italia. Sudio Tassin is responsible for interior design.

Metal carpentry was a particularly important aspect, with many components built from scratch, including screw and bolts shaped out of structural and mechanical components.

The owner requested a style that was a classic production in a style that was cohesive with the yacht’s exterior, yet incorporated detail and refined features. Her steel and aluminum superstructure incorporates two CAT C18 Acert 2x599kW engines with a gross tonnage of 300.
