Monaco Yacht Show to Have Layout Change for 2018: Anticipated layout changes to the 2018 Monaco Yacht Show will bring yacht designers, builders and brokers closer to their creations. Organizer Informa Exhibitions has indicated that the reconfiguration of Quai des Etats-Unis will improve the visit experience of the show’s private clientele by restricting traffic flow.
The main change will be a new pontoon extending out from the Quai des Etats-Unis to replace the T-central jetty extension. Luxury manufacturers and service provides will be located in the Parvis Piscine tent, with the Darse Sud tent hosting nautical suppliers. The removal of the T central dock will essentially make room for a new quay at the northern end of the show.
A larger Tenders and Toys zone will be located in part of Quai Antoine Ier and Quai Jarlan. The remaining space on Quai Antoine Ier will house the Car Deck, starboard lounge, art exhibition and additional nautical suppliers.
Keen to reinforce MYS’ reputation as one of the world’s best yacht shows, the organizers have placed a renewed emphasis on transporting guest from one area to another, with additional transfer tenders and golf buggies available in Port Hercules.
The 2018 Monaco Yacht Show will run Sept. 26-29. Organizers expect about 120 yachts to make an appearance with about 40 of those making their worldwide debut.
