Nerissa is Bilgin Yachts’ Latest Megayacht Launch
A smaller guest total is the primary idea behind Nerissa. Typically, yachts in the 47.5-meter range carry an average of 12 guests, with main deck master cabin accommodation and give staterooms below. Nerissa, however, only has four staterooms below decks. H2 Yacht Design is responsible the arrangement and interior design concept, which allows for more space for each guest.
The master suite is, of course, still spacious and is situated on the main deck featuring a balcony and a skylight to emphasize sensations and brightness. H2 Yacht Design has reportedly created a somewhat minimal ambiance based on a copper color scheme. The master suite takes up the full 8.75-meter beam.
Nerissa features a beach club that doubles as a tender garage, however Bilgin and Unique Yacht Design, which handled styling and naval architecture, created two side hatches for tender deployment. A transom door provides beach club access.
A crew of eight plus the captain will run Nerissa. Launched after 23 months in build at Bilgin’s Istanbul facility, the 499GT superyacht has a steel hull and should have a top speed of 16 knots at half load. Her MTU power will give her a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles. Seat trials and final fit out are currently taking place.
Nerissa will eventually cruise the Caribbean and Mediterranean with her 2.5-meter draft. She is currently for sale and will be features at the Monaco Yacht Show.
