New 160m Project XIA Superyacht Concept Revealed: Global regal Yachting has unveiled a 160-meter superyacht concept developed in collaboration with New York studio Gill Schmid Design and Spain’s Hijos de Barreras shipyard.
Project XIA will be built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure featuring 22 guest suite, including a large owner’s suite over two floors and two private decks. She will accommodate a crew of 64. Power will come either from a twin screw direct drive or a diesel-electric option.
A huge number of amenities will be onboard, including a full-height aquarium access through a double height entrance lobby, a casino and bar, a nightclub with a glass-bottomed pool, two outdoor Jacuzzis, a spa, a three-dimensional cinema and more. She’ll also include two helicopter pads, one hangar and two expensive tender garages.
Other outstanding superyacht lifestyle amenities that may be included are a showcase wine vault, formal dining space for 30-plus guests and a 270-degree observation lounge at the bow. The yacht is listed at a projected price of €260 million, subject to final specification.
