Dutch shipbuilder Contest Yachts recently launched its latest Contest 72CS yacht at its yard in Medemblik. Originally introduced as the manufcturer’s flagship at the HISWA In-Water Boat Show in 2012, the Contest 72 is a 22m performance cruiser that sets new standards in performance and comfort by combining Dutch quality with superior looks.

Wetzels Brown Partners designed the 72CS contemporary interiors, providing a generous master suite, fitted with a desk, two large sofas and a huge bathroom. The substantial galley, located forward, is connected to the captain’s cabin and the captain’s lounge. The saloon has comfortable sofas and a modern soft look and feel.

As a sleek bluewater cruiser, the 72CS meets the stringent quality demands of Lloyd’s certification. Contest has used its industry-leading vacuum infusion system to produce the hull and deck, resulting in lighter weight with added strength.
