The Mangusta GranSport 48, at 48 meters, is the first Overmarine yacht to have a fast-displacement hull. Her top speed with twin MTUs is expected to be 26 knots, yet she will emphasize better fuel consumption. Range of 3,800nm should come at a speed of 12 knots. She will also feature zero-speed stabilizers.
Her sporty profile also features a raised-pilothouse configuration. With a beam of 8.8 meters, the GranSport 48 will make good use of space. Large panes of glass on each side will ensure an airy feel to the saloon. This yacht will also feature a beach club, flying-bridge dining area for 10 and at the bow, a glass-bottom hot tub that serves as a skylight for the master head below. Light is able to spill out into the sleeping space thanks to a glass door between the head and stateroom. Overmarine and designer Alberto Mancini have suggested interiors blending dark and ale materials along with glossy and matte textures to play with light even more, although buyers can arrange the interior to their taste.
The Oceano 55, constructed in steel and aluminum, has a top speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots with twin MTU engines that have a range of 5,000nm at cruising speed.
She employs lot of glass, including some floor-to-ceiling installations, and drop-down partitions among her three decks to open to the outside. The Oceano 55 also has some good alfresco areas that include several lounges, a dining area and more. The spacious owner’s suite measures 100 square meters, while the beach club is also spacious, featuring three platforms over the water. Accommodations for 12 guests are included, as well as for 11 crew members.
