Italian shipbuilder Riva has announced that its Riva 76 Coupe is now under build at the Ferretti Group in Las Spezia. At 22.98 meters in length, the first Riva 76 will have silver metallic painted hull. She will also have 40 square meters of glazed surfaces that will give her a sporty and slender profile while also increasing visibility for the captain and passengers.
Inside, she will accommodate guests over three spacious cabins on the lower deck. A full beam owner’s suite is amidships and includes an ample relaxation area, master stateroom and walk-in wardrobe. An en-suite VIP cabin and a twin cabin also provide accommodation.
Mauro Micheli of Officina Italian Design, who has designed the entire Riva range, noted that the yacht has large glass surface with double curvature integrated into a single layout to ensure enormous spaces comparable to those found in larger yachts. Micheli also minimized the conceptual barrier between interior and exterior to allow the owners to live with the sea.
The Riva 76’ will have two V-drive MAN V12, 1,550 MHP engines to provide her with a maximum speed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of 29 knots. More powerful MAN V12, 1800 MHP engines that give a top speed of 37 knots and a cruising speed of 32 knots are optional.
Ferretti will debut the Riva 76’ at an exclusive event in Monte Carlo this September before heading to the Cannes Yachting Festival.
