Overmarine’s Mangusta Mega Yacht 94 Hull Number 5 Headed for the U.S.: Overmarine’s Hull 5 in the Mangusta 94 series is headed for the United States, further cementing the Italian manufacturer’s foray into the American market, making her the seventh maxi open heading to North American in the last five years.
Several features have attracted the attention of American clients, including her shallow draft of 1.6 meters, which makes her suited for cruising in the Bahamas and Florida. The shipyard also notes that its customers are also cruising parts of the northeast, such as the Hamptons.
The model’s speed is a big factor too. Twin MTUs when paired with water jets, reportedly push the Mangusta 94 to 36 knots. Although Overmarine doesn’t disclose the fuel burn, it does say that the Mangusta 94 doesn’t consumer as much as other performance-oriented yachts. In addition the hull, designed in house, is engineered for comfort at slower speeds.
This line also maximizes alfresco areas such as flying bridge, which has also attracted American buyers. Additionally, The foredeck has a cockpit-like lounging and dining area.
The owners of Hull Number 5 mega yacht chose Winch Design for the interior, however, no details are available. General layout includes three staterooms and upper and lower saloons.
