Owner Takes Possession of Fifth Horizon Megayacht
Belderback Designs collaborated with the German owner on the profile, creating a raised pilothouse as well as near all-around visibility on each deck of the 110-foot yacht. The design house also worked with Horizon’s designers on space planning and décor.

Below deck, the Custom Collection concept is featured in an unusual way. Only two guest staterooms are located here, while the full beam master stateroom is on the main deck. The unusual number of staterooms focuses on Abaco’s purpose: family time. Everyone will gather for meals on the aft deck or flying bridge and can lounge and sun up top too. Even with a hardtop, the yacht offers flexible spaces due to an electric sliding center.
Off-boat venture are also in store with a 16’5” tender, launched via lowering the swim platform. There’s also room for dive gear. When free of toys, Abaco’s garage turns into a beach club, which will be a boon when in shallow water. She has a draft just shy of five feet. Power will come from 2,600-hp MTU engines.
