Prime Concept to Initiate New Semi-Custom MegaYacht Concept
The project, entitled Prime, is an engineered 50m platform designed to support a range of superstructures and interior layouts. Clients will be able to choose from diferent styles to suit thir preferences, pre-designed by studios such as Raymond Langton Design and Luiz de Basto.
Azure Yacht Design and Naval Architecture is behind Prime’s flexible engineering solutions that include all pipework, electrical and mechanical systems. Bob van den Meriacker of Azure Yacht Design noted that Prime offers a platform that creates a 70m yachting experience in a 50m yacht. Clients are encourages to work with one of the original design teams to further develop the concept or work with a designer of their choice.
Bloemsma Yachts will build the design entirely from aluminum in the Netherlands. The Dutch shipyard will work together will all technical members of the build team to deliver a seamless experience.
