Superyacht Builder Abeking & Rasmussen Open New, Expanded Production Shed: With numerous representatives from national and local government in Germany and the maritime industry in attendance, Abeking & Rasmussen recently opened their new expanded production shed at the company’s facilities in Lemwerder. CEO Hans M. Schaedla and the entire Abeking & Rasmussen staff were on hand for the inauguration ceremony for the newly expanded shed that will allow construction of vessels up to 125 meters.

The new shed offers special features that will facilitate construction superyachts such as passenger and freight elevators that allow workers to easily reach different decks. Finished yachts will be pushed out of the hall onto a heavy-lift pontoon and then lowered into the water. Thanks to investment in these new features, Abeking & Rasmussen will soon move their first new build into the hall.
