Superyacht Valkyrie Concept Brings Luxury to a New Level: The sleek and modern design of the new luxury giga yacht concept Valkyrie delivers a yachting experience like no other. At 229 meters this yacht from Chalhun Design has a streamlined appearance yet is packed with amenities.
The Valkyrie’s hull and superstructure are chrome colored, with dark glazing covering multiple floors to create a svelte stern, enshrouding the large open areas with flowing forms. Extensive glazing curves down the aft of the topmost four decks, creating 180-degree views in all weather conditions. The exterior styling features three extensive foredecks making it perfect for hosting guests at dockside events, or for exercise and leisure outdoors while cruising.
She covers seven decks, with the top deck dedicated to the wheelhouse and below decks bursting a multitude of amenities not often seen on a mega yacht. The lower deck hosts a helipad, alfresco lounge and dining area, as well as a swim platform that serves as an extension to the beach club.
To match her impressive length, the superyacht would also have an expansive beam of 30 meters to ensure there is ample room on board for amenities such as a salon and spa, restaurant, exhibition hall, three-floor theater and secondary theater, and casino. A pair of 17Mw engines gives superyacht Valkyrie a top speed of 25 knots, a cruising speed of 20 knots, and at an economical 16 knots a staggering range of 10,000 nautical miles.
