Tankoa 58M Open Megayacht Projected to Achieve 30 Knots: Tankoa Yachts is introducing is first open-style project, the 58M Open megayacht that is expected to reach a top speed of 28 to 30 knots at half load. Triple MTU diesel engines with a central booster, or turbine engine, will power the yacht. KaMeWa waterjets will also flank the central booster. Such a combination is common for yachts engineered for owners who want speed. With all aluminum construction, the draft of the Tankoa 58M Open megayacht will only be six feet.
