Ankoa to Present Megayacht Vertige at 2017 Monaco Yacht Show: Tankoa yachts has announced that the S501 mega yacht Vertige will appear at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, taking place Sept. 27-30. The megayacht, launched last February, features exterior design and concept by Francesco Paszkowski, while also designing her interiors in collaboration with Margherita Casprini.
The 50-meter Vertige is a well-balanced ship, with contemporary design that offers excellent indoor/outdoor flow throughout her decks to create an appealing environment for her owners and charter guests. Space has been designed in such as way that the crew can easily carry out their daily duties without compromising guest privacy.
A full-beam master suite, a VIP suite on the main deck and two additional VIP suites and two guest staterooms on the lower deck provide guest accommodations. The upper deck is home to a gymnasium and cinema. A seven-meter tender and two jet skis stored forward in the tender garage provide additional entertainment. The yacht’s rescue tender is also stored forward.
A huge aft deck and welcoming flybridge provide fabulous outdoor relaxation areas with oversized sun pads, areas for al fresco dining or simply having fun on the lateral three-meter foldout terrace that provides easy access to the sea.
Edoardo Ratto, Tankoa Yachts general manager, noted that Vertige reached a top speed of 16.5 knots on her seat trials at 60% load, carrying 33,000 liters of fuel and more than 20,000n liters of water. She has a range of more than 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots, which can make a considerable difference when crossing the Atlantic Ocean.
Since her delivery in May, Vertige has enjoyed a busy charter season in the Mediterranean. She is the second S501 unit built by Tankoa.
