Rossinavi Sells 52m Mega Yacht Project Florentia: Hull FR039, also known as Project Florentia has been sold by the Italian yard Rassinavi. The 52-meter superyacht, sporting a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, is slated for launched in 2020. Giorgio and Stefano Vafiadis are responsible for her exterior design, while Carlo Colombo and the A++ Design studio will create her interior.
Federico Rossi, Rossinavi CEO noted that Florentia is positioned in a market for those who appreciate traditional boating and yachts with balanced lines.
Few details are yet available, however the Italian yard indicated that a staircase will be a key part of the interior design, bringing together warm colors, leather and light wood. The owner’s suite will include a mirrored ring in the center of the room to reflect light in all directions.
With a 10.35-meter beam, she will have accommodation for as many as 12 guests spread out across a spacious 700GT interior. Crew quarters will accommodate a staff of 13. The engine installation is undisclosed, but the hull has been designed around a cruising speed of 13.5 knots.
Project Florentia is part of a new wave of yachts over 50 meters and 500GT from Rossinavi, the first since the 70-meter High Power III (formerly Numptia) was launched in 2011.
