YACHTS! 24th Dubai International Boat Show to Debut Experiential Events: The 24th edition of the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) will kick off on March 1 with show organizers expected over 30,000 visitors from 120 different countries to attend the five-day event where more than 430 will be displayed, both on land and in the water.

Organizers have shited their focus this to  create an “experiential lifestyle event” that aims to  not only showcase superyachts, but encourages the maritime lifestyle. Visitors will be able to participate in sailing and fishing trips, try water sport stunts, stand-up paddleboarding and windsurfing. Beach access and on-yacht dining experience are on slate for the first time in the event. A host of interactive and free activities such as daily daredevil jetpack, flyboard and fly bike stunts will debut in conjunction with Day & Night Dubai.

Trixie LohMirmand, organizer of DIBS, noted that Dubai has spearheaded the experiential trend and has developed a reputation of being a global lifestyle destination. The show aims to embody this reputation and expand on world-class features. She added that the show has witness a shift in the way visitors want to participate and how exhibitors want to showcase their products, with enthusiast seeking more on-water experiences that end up boosting the regional industry.
