YXXI Yacht Design Unveils New 127m Superyacht Concept: French studio YXXI Yacht Design has unveiled a 127-meter superyacht concept with an exterior influenced by aerospace and auto design. Called Project #4, the new concept aims to give her guests an incomparable n-board experience that focuses on maximum enjoyment of the sea, sports and entertainment.
Project #4 would accommodate 30 guests and 46 crew-members, with style and general arrangement adapted to her owner’s wishes. All rooms would be equipped with electrochromic glass windows tinted to protect occupants from the sunlight and prevent visibility from the outside.
An elevator will provide easy access to all decks. On the upper deck, guess will find ample relaxation space that includes a large sunbathing area. The deck’s high position provides guests with an overview of the environment as well as privacy. The mast hides an outdoor cinema screen.
The middle part of the superyachts sundeck features a full-size tennis court and equipment for basketball, football, badminton, golf and other sports. An integrated folding net prevents balls from falling into the water. The owner’s suite is on the front part of this deck and includes its own spa and private terrace with a sliding glass roof.
Eight guest suites encompass the majority of the space on the deck below. Two rear suites have their own private terrace and spa, with the other suites surrounded by balconies.
Private, living and service spaces are on the main deck, with the rear part of the superstructure hosting the upper saloon and dining room. Wide doors open onto a terrace shaded by a roller sun-blind. The central part of the main deck houses the galley, storage rooms and other service area. Six additional guest suites, with floor-to-ceiling windows, are in the front part and feature direct access to the foredeck.
A helipad with a 11-meter lifting platform is on the foredeck. It also contains a dining terrace, a main terrace and a 12x meter swimming pool with glass sidewalls. Guest entertainment can be found in the main saloon with games and multimedia equipment along with a 30-seat movie theater and a video games room.
In addition to the beach club at water level, the superyacht will have indoor golf and surfing practice areas, which the studio claims have never been previously included on a yacht. The covered beach club can be used as another saloon or an evening entertainment space. Adjacent is a fitness room, massage room, hair and body care space, a spa and a sauna. An open beach club is at the rear.
The yacht will have two eco-friendly propulsion solutions with diesel and electric engines. At low speed, only silent electrical energy will be used. At higher speeds, diesel and electric sources can be combined for more power.
